When night falls on the Bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel, not only does the Mont-Saint-Michel light up, it also opens its doors to visitors for a unique night show at the abbey. Visual and audio effects lend atmosphere and mystery, while the tale of a mythical night creature echoes in very nook and cranny of this historic building.
As the sun goes down and the shadows lengthen, you can also cross the bay on foot or horseback with a guide, making for an unforgettable experience.

During the summer season, the local tourist office in Cherbourg organises several night tours of the town. Equipped with tablets, participants can learn about Cherbourg’s medieval history in atmospheric surroundings.
