Historical metallurgical activities in the country of Ouche.
Ancestor of the steel plant, the Grosse Forge d'Aube produced iron since 1500. From 1850 to 1939, the work of copper adapted, without problems, the equipment before the Revolution. Listed as a Historical Monument, the site presents five centuries of metallurgy. Models trace thousand years of metallurgy. Exhibitions are devoted to this traditional activity and its impact, the foundations of the local industry still very active in this part of the valley of the Risle.
