In Grand Bourgtheroulde in Normandy, 30 minutes away from Rouen, come and enjoy a sensory experience at the interactive museum dedicated to the famous Berger Lamps. For 120 years, Maison Berger Paris has designed and created lamps that are now sold all over the world. Over the years, it has collaborated with many designers and celebrities to bring to life unique lamps that represented different periods. Awarded the "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (Living Heritage Company) certification, it now tells its history and displays its iconic products in its museum located in the Eure Department, a historic site for the company. In a refined 120 sq m (1292 sq ft), in a fragrant atmosphere, 150 rare pieces are displayed, including some that were designed by leading French manufacturers (Baccarat, Limoges, Desvres). Here, it traces the history of this surprising brand through an olfactory, auditory, visual and tactile visit with exceptional fragrances. You will also see old posters and adverts as well as sketches of lamps made by the designers. In addition to this exceptional collection, there are some entertaining and interactive workshops available to visitors.
