BRETTEVILLE-DU-GRAND-CAUX

The Vitrine du Lin opens its doors to you in a typically Cauchois enclosed hovel.
In a dwelling dating from the 17th century, you will follow the history of linen, from field to clothing, in a free exhibition.

For the eyes and the ears, a video cassette, photographic documents and texts allow you to familiarize yourself with the cultivation of flax.
For the fingers, samples (tow, tow, seeds, shives) are made available to compare the different qualities of flax with their names and also to discover its many uses (car door interiors, chipboards, oils ...) .

Boutique: Sale of objects, body care products, men's and women's clothing, tablecloths, towels, bed linen, linens made from linen.
