Château des Matignon

Patrimoine culturel,

TORIGNY-LES-VILLES

The Château des Matignon (16-17th c.) was the fiefdom of that famous Norman family for over three hundred years. Despite successive destructions, it houses numerous Aubusson tapestries, Norman furniture and the museum of local sculptor Arthur Le Duc. On the outside lie the “cannon courtyard” and a public garden with a view down onto the ponds and the old village.
