The dovecote, the buttresses of the old keep, a few mullioned windows and a monumental fireplace remain from the medieval period. In the middle of the 17th century, the castle was inhabited by General Georges Revel de Bretteville, commander of the Legion of Honour and relative of Charlotte Corday.
