The first “Collider” in Europe, MoHo aims to bring together a whole range of people from different horizons, as well as hosting all manner of events thanks to its spaces’ great adaptability.
Set up in the city of Caen, in Normandy, MoHo aims to foster its diverse communities and projects through varied forms of inspiration including:
- History-filled places known around the world (the D-Day landing beaches; the Mont Saint Michel…)
- A close connection with life and a whole way of life, being set close both to the sea and to nature
- An emblematic, energetic town centre, with its students, history and well-established economy, all in the heart of the dynamic region of Normandy
Thanks to its location very close to the railway station, MoHo can be reached using green, non-motorised transport, on foot or by bike, for example, as well as by train, lying just 2hrs, door to door, from Paris’s Gare Saint Lazare train station. It stands in the heart of a thriving town, but also close to varied nature, with the sea just 15km away to relax and flourish.
MoHo can provide over 20 spaces for events, including 1 multi-sports ground, 1 lecture hall (with 170 seats), 1 adaptable conference centre (with 270 seats) and 1 seminar space of 300m2, along with creative, training and situation rooms. All our spaces can be adapted to your specific event requirements and are fully equipped with sound, light and video facilities. MoHo is also setting up a free zone of 1,500m2, dedicated to community cohesion, the aim being to encourage events in the greater interest of society, in particular making citizens aware of issues concerning climate change, education and inclusion.
