Located on the way to the Valleuse de Mordal dry-hanging valley in Varengeville sur mer, this atypical loft apartment offers an exceptional view of the countryside and the sea.
The cheerful and original decor is ideal for a change of scenery. The house is spacious with large picture windows, opening to the south on a beautiful terrace, and provides all the necessary comfort for a pleasant stay.
The sea is fifteen minutes away on foot and the GR21 hiking trail passes by the house, offering on the one hand a nice walk and on the other hand peace and quiet once you are back home.
Restored with a loft style interior, the building has preserved its authentic character on the outside in keeping with the setting of Varengeville. The large picture windows are the only contemporary touch.
The combination of old and modern material bring warmth and comfort. The walls are full of life thanks to the lime plaster and the warm-coloured partition walls enhance the cold colours of the Alabaster Coast. From Spring to Autumn, Varengeville boasts an array of splendid gardens to visit.
There are numerous walks to do if you like.
Varengeville is steeped in special lights and many painters knew it: Monet, Isabey, Miro came here. Braque settled there. Musicians and writers were also inspired by the place. Maupassant was born a stone's throw away from our place.
Dieppe, a Town of Art and History is only 7 km away. From King Francis I to the Duchess of Berry, there are numerous anecdotes. You'll have to look up while walking there to admire
the wrought-iron balconies, go to the market on Saturday morning, taste fish and seafood along the port.
