About 20 km from Mont st Michel, in peaceful country surroundings, La Métairie offers its guests a real break, an opportunity to live differently ... Marie Isabelle and Pierre Yves, 2 artists, passionate, ingenious and very generous have created in the attic a guest room to match the rest of their house: bright and cheerful, and incredibly welcoming! Colourful netting and curtains, walls decorated according to the owner's mood, furniture and objects found in antiques shops, old sewing machine turned into a dressing table... a bohemian touch from Eastern Europe. Downstairs the atmosphere is much more sober with the Art Deco frescoes painted on the walls, the colourful glasswork, the superb phonograph, the piano... In the kitchen, it is a delight to spend some time with the chatty hosts and watch them prepare delicious meals with fresh local produce.
