You’ll fall in love with the weird and wonderful Etretat Gardens!
The Etretat Gardens are a stunning modern addition to this famous seaside resort. In 1905, Madame Thebault, a famous actress of the early 20th century, and a close friend of Claude Monet, built a house and started a small avant-garde garden here. That garden is now home to some incredible stone sculptures that melt into the sculptured ivy shrubbery, and all of this on a hillside overlooking the cliffs of Etretat made famous by the Impressionists! Created by well-known landscape architect Alexandre Grivko, these stunning gardens will impress Impressionism lovers as well as admirers of contemporary art.
