Normandy will host three major international events in 2019, making it an exceptional year, what with: The 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and the battle of Normandy; Armada 2019 (a gathering of historic ships); and the FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019™.

    In 2019, Armada, one of the largest regular gatherings of historic ships in the world, will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Several million visitors are expected to pack Rouen’s quays to admire the most prestigious ships and boats, plus their crews.

FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP FRANCE 2019™

  • I would like further information on the Fifa Women’s World Cup France 2019™ matches in Le Havre

    In June 2019, Le Havre will host several matches in the Fifa Women’s World Cup France 2019™, including a quarter final. This is a much-anticipated event in the town that saw the creation of France’s first football club, back in 1872.

    Regarding official international ceremonies, note that you will need to put in a request to the Préfecture de Région (the Normandy Regional Council Head Office) to ask for a pass if you wish to travel within the specific zone concerned.

    The event will take place on 4 and 5 June 2019. This is an internationally recognised, leading gathering for discussing world peace. It’s also a place to meet people and exchange information.
