COURDEMANCHE

Rosemary's garden

Parks and gardens

Created in 1966 round an old 18th century farmstead, this garden’s charm lies in the succession of intimate grassy glades surrounded by trees and shrubs, and in its fine collection of old and mordern roses suche as Lady Waterloo, City of York, rosa brunonii (Himalayan Musk), rosa wichuraiana, and Alexandre Girault clambering over stone pine or age-old box… Flowering crab apples, a giant sequoia (from seed) and hydrangeas enhance the beauty of the scene.
