Parc et Jardin à la française du Château d'Eu

Parks and gardens

The park of the Grande Mademoiselle (cousin of Louis XIV) is the fine setting for the Château d'Eu right in the centre of the town. Its highlight is the rose garden, currently being restored. Botanical specialities: beech trees, rhododendrons and azaleas imported from England, the rose garden, and collections of conifers purchased as the Universal Exhibition in 1870.
