Parc du Bois des Moutiers

Parks and gardens

Pets accepted
The Bois des Moutiers was created by Guillaume MALLET in 1898 with the help of the British architect Sir Edwin LUTYENS, who designed this Arts & Crafts inspired house, the only one of its kind in France. The gardens around the house were also planned by the architect in collaboration with the owner and with the famous English landscape designer, Miss Gertrude JEKYLL. This leading place of interest is internationally recognised for its architectural, botanical and artistic importance, and is officially listed as a historic monument and as an outstanding garden.
