Rebuilding in order to bring Normandy's origins back to life. A 10th century Carolingian village is planned for 2013-2016, and an 11th century castle with moat is planned for 2016-2021. These projects are rebuilt according to historical Normandy blueprint using the techniques used during the Middle Ages. Explore Viking cylture in a Viking camp and its inhabitants in a site inspired by Scandinavian archaeological excavations. The tour includes: presentation of the project and immersion in 10th century daily life amongst the craftsmen who reproduce medieval skills.
