The Radar Museum is on the only radar site on the D-Day landings beaches, and played a major role in the Second World War. Set up in the former German detection centre, two bunkers from the period are used to illustrate the Atlantic Wall, the history of radar and the daily lives of the German soldiers. Film made from the archives of the Imperial War Museum. A real symbol of the museum, the Würzburg-Riese (giant) radar was actually on the site in 1944. With its dish measuring 7.5 metres in diameter, it could track planes up to 60 km away.
