This museum, housed in the cloister of a 17th century monastery, is devoted to collections dating from pre-history to the 19th century, and illustrating the past of Rouen and its region. Major collections of archeological, proto-historical, Gallo-Roman (the mosaic of Lillebonne) an Merovingian periods. Objets d art of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, furniture (Tapestry of the Winged Deer, 15th century) and wooden panels, greek and egyptian collections.
