Jardin Public

Parks and gardens

Situated at the foot of the Roule mountain, the public garden created in 1887 also houses an educational barnyard, a zoological park, a large aviary, a statue of Jean- Francois Millet and a landscaped garden ornamented with rock features through which a stream winds and cascades. Surrounded by numerous children’s’ games, the bandstand is the only one remaining in the town. A rose garden with 67 Normandy varieties from 1828 to the present day can be explored close to the reed bed.
