The Haras National du Pin (stud farm), known as the ‘Versailles for horses’, was built upon orders from King Louis XIV on a 1,000-hectare estate full of greenery.
Today, the Haras du Pin is an exceptional place in Normandy and every year, more than 200 days of world-renowned equestrian competitions take place here.
There are also countless other tourism and cultural activities.
A TOUR OF THE HARAS is an exploration of the whole historic centre of the Haras du Pin.
Come and explore the entire stud farm and estate and see how it has evolved throughout the centuries, including the main courtyard, the stables, vast tack room, collection of horse-drawn carriages and a discovery trail. You will also have a chance to meet the horses and discover the different breeds.
