AZEVILLE

Azeville Battery

WW2 Sites

Located at 7kms in the North East from Sainte-Mère-Eglise, this battery built in 1941, is one of the first buildings of the Atlantic Wall in France. Tunnels are made between bunkers and turned up into the
maze. Guides give us a good idea of what was the daily life of the soldiers and Major Treiber at the time.
