The ruins of this Cistercian abbey founded for nuns circa 1190 are located 30 minutes south-east of Rouen, along the banks of the river Andelle. It is considered as one of the finest examples of Anglo-Norman Gothic architecture. Wander round the romantic park and take time to admire the nuns' dormitory with its framework shaped like a ship hull, the church with its vaulted choir, the primitive chapel altered in the 15th century, the Chapter House and the troglodytic cellars. Free admission for children under 7 years old.
