Connelles rock climbing

Feel the thrill of climbing our ancestors had in the oldest site in the Eure in Normandy. Try your hand at climbing in Connelles on the banks of the Norman river Seine. This sport climbing site, mostly facing west (some parts face north, south and east) has 97 routes spread over 12 areas. With a grade ranging from 3 to 7b, they involve a rope of 30 to 50 metres long. Northern cliff GPS coordinates: N49°16'38.0'' E01°16'18.4'' southern cliff: N49°16'35.8"" E01°16'18.2''. From Connelles, take the D19 to Amfreville-sous-les-Monts. The car park is located 300 m on the right after exiting Connelles (there is a concrete EDF pylon in the middle of the car park).
