The Flood - Camille Saint-Saëns.
Built around the biblical poem Le Déluge de Saint-Saëns, the program of this concert invites us to dive into the flow of French vocal music from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century. With rare works, sometimes unpublished, composers such as André Caplet and Lili Boulanger who perfectly embody the "French style" and more specifically the aesthetics of the guns of the Prix de Rome: clarity, elegance, refinement but also lyrical breath , evocative power in the tradition of our romantic French Berlioz.
