Imagine Van Gogh

The concept of immersive exhibitions was born in the 1970s, when photographer Albert Plécy developed the concept of "Total Image". Albert Plécy had the idea to develop immersive shows in the
white limestone quarries of Baux-de-Provence, calling his project "Cathédrale d'Images".
In 2000, Annabelle Mauger discovered Cathédrale d'Images in the Baux-de-Provence thanks to her companion Timothée Polad, grandson of Albert and Anne Plécy.
When he joined the team in place in 2005, Julien Baron brings his technical background of projectionist and his experience of video and motion design. He works on the shows of Cézanne, Venice and Picasso in the design of visual effects and animation.
In 2008, Annabelle Mauger and Julien Baron perform the Van Gogh show, which will become the biggest success of Cathédrale d'Images. After being presented in Paris at the Halle de La Villette in the summer of 2017, Imagine Van Gogh will be presented in Le Havre, at the Carré des Docks, from June 29 to September 1, 2019.
