Set in a 6000 square-metre greenhouse at the heart of the Seine Valley, Biotropica is home to a variety of rare plants and animals and is dedicated to the discovery and preservation of the environment. Monkeys, parrots, alligators, bats and many other fascinating species can be observed in this luxuriant tropical rainforest. Outside, you and the family can travel around the world on the walking trails, marvelling at penguins, red pandas, cheetahs and kangaroos along the way. Impressive dinosaur replicas complete the experience.

  • Biotropica is located fifteen miles South of Rouen, on the banks of the River Seine, and is easily accessible from the A13 motorway.
  • Just a few miles from Biotropica, in the heart of the picturesque village of Le Vaudreuil, La Cascade Insolite will pleasantly surprise your taste buds. Insolite means unusual, so make the most of the curious decor and the eccentric dishes.
  • Located in a former village shop, L’Épicerie du Pape is an eco-friendly and quirky B&B, boasting an interior that is a mix of antiques, flea market finds, vintage and collectibles.
