The Festive Season in Seine-Maritime

Rouen city centre comes alive in December with its big Christmas Market and street entertainment. This is also the case for Le Havre with a giant street parade, and 1st January swimmers must not be forgotten in Dieppe, Etretat and Fécamp.

> Christmas Market in Le Havre

Some 30 wooden chalets will take over the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville for Le Havre’s famous Christmas Market, complete with a big wheel and carriage rides.

> 1st January swim!

In Dieppe, Etretat and Fécamp, to keep up with traditions, one must start the New Year with an invigorating swim! Each year, bold swimmers venture out into the sea at 5°C ! Do you dare to join them or would you rather wrap up in your warm winter attire and watch them dive?

> Christmas Market and entertainment in Rouen «Givrée»!

Discover Rouen in its suit of white and red lights, with over seventy chalets set on the Cathedral square for a traditional Christmas Market with festive events, Santa Claus and street entertainment.

On the Place du Vieux Marché, entertainment will be provided in the form of a big wheel and an ice-rink.

New for 2018 is a huge Christmas Parade which will take place on Sunday 9 December through the streets of the city centre.

> Christmas Markets at the Château de Miromesnil

Guy de Maupassant's birthplace will host two arts & crafts Christmas Markets with over 40 vendors.

Dates: from 30th November to 2nd December and from 7th to 9th December 2018
