Rouen is transformed in December with its big Christmas Market and street entertainment. This is also the case for Le Havre with a giant street parade, and 1st January swimmers must not be forgotten in Dieppe, Etretat and Fécamp. And many more events well worth attending...

> Christmas Market in Le Havre

Some 30 wooden chalets will take over Place Perret for Le Havre’s famous Christmas Market whilst Father Christmas’ village and workshop can be found Place de l’Hôtel de Ville.

Plus Ferris wheel and carriage rides from Place Perret.

> 1st January swim in Etretat!

In Dieppe, Etretat and Fécamp (website in French), to keep up with traditions, one must start the New Year with an invigorating swim! Each year, bold swimmers venture out into the sea at 5°C ! Do you dare to join them or would you rather wrap up in your warm winter attire and watch them dive?

Discover Rouen in its suit of white and red lights, with over seventy chalets set on the Cathedral square for a traditional Christmas Market with festive events, Santa Claus and street entertainment.

On the Place du Vieux Marché, entertainment will be provided in the form of a big wheel and an ice-rink.
