The Tour de France 2016 in Normandy

In 2016, from 2nd to 4th July, with the Grand Départ at the foot of the iconic Mont-Saint-Michel, the Tour de France will then travel through the Manche area with stops at Utah Beach, Saint-lô, Cherbourg and will set out from Granville on 4th July.

The Tour de France will start at the foot of the Mont-Saint-Michel for the first stage to Utah Beach*, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont.

The second stage will take place in the Manche as well from Saint-Lô to Cherbourg, riding along the Côte des Isles in the Cotentin peninsula and will leave Granville on 4th July.

Plus a full week of free festive events throughout the Manche county in the villages and towns crossed by the cyclists from 26th June to 4th July 2016.

* Utah Beach is one of the 5 D-day Landing Beaches
